The Beauty of Utah Parks.....

Our Fabulous Time in Utah

We have been to Utah several times and my husband even lived here for a while, but out last trip here was to visit as many parks as we could fit in during our week long diving tour. We combined this excursion with a visit to Wyoming too.

We flew into Jackson Hole on an absolutely terrific day....sunny and 72 - the first week in June. Perfect! It wouldn't last. We soon had snow and below freezing temps. We visited the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone and several places in between, and truly LOVED it ALL.   After a week in the north, battling cold and snow, we headed south, passing through Idaho and into northern Utah. Our first stop was Salt Lake City and then on to the State and National Parks.

During this most recent trip, we explored 6 parks: Arches, Bryce, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Dead Horse, and Grand Staircase. This was our third trip to Bryce, because we think it is absolutely amazing.   We've also been to Zion National Park twice, but did not have time to fit it into this long journey.

So in the links below, I will detail as much of our travel as possible. We had good times, great times, and even scary times. I try to make every expereince exciting and real and hope you will feel like you're traveling along with us!
